Report what dosen't look right - take charge of your neghborhood

 On May 29, 2012 around 10:30pm several gunshots was heard in our area of Vernon and Stocker we have to have more partrols in this area to prevent the BS of gangs and drive bys before it starts. This is a school area and lets kick it in the butt before it gets worse. Were not having this BS in our neighborhood. Please report anything and everything that dosen't look right.

LAPD King Carnival this weekend

The LAPD had to postpone its annual MLK Blvd. festival this Halloween due to budget constraints - but somehow managed to put this great community event back on the drawing board.

This weekend King is closed at Western to cars but open to everyone else to ride on the Egyptian galleon and the carnival games, like fishing for Coke bottles and throwing darts at ballons for stuffed animals.
