Hi Heather,
Thank you for your message. I will be working at Harmony project, program managing the Leimert Park music programs (http://www.harmony-project.org/programs/leimert-park-and-greater-los-angeles-history/).

We have programming at Barbara Morrison performing arts center: Funk Orchestra on Saturdays from 9-12, and choir and piano classes in the week.

Looking forward to hearing from you, and being part of the Leimert park community.

Love the blog.  I looked at the 4118 5th Avenue house.

Thanks for the welcome Heather.  I just closed on the house, moving in the first weekend of May, so I haven't actually lived there yet.  I was searching for a house all over South LA, and as soon as I saw Leimert Park, I know I had to live there!

Hi Heather - so sorry it has taken me so long to reply - really busy month!!!!

My blog is http://allisonreadschildrensbooks.blogspot.com/

I'm trying to get caught - have been behind all year and posted WAY less than I wanted to, hoped to.

A few months a go, I discovered a big popular blog using the same cute template as mine, throwing me into a frantic search for something better and I'm still looking. I changed to something that works temporarily, but I'm not thrilled with it.

I'd love to connect with you - what is your blog about?

Sadly I'm not in MochaMoms - hadn't heard of them. Looks really cool, however.

Take care,
Allison

Hi, HP. Looking forward to catching up with you. Will have to be on the weekend, though. The longer commute cuts into my spare time during the week and work is good  but takes a lot of time. I know you're in touch with that emotion.;)

Although this is simply a vision plan, it can become the catalyst for the transformation of this important S. La Brea Avenue corridor. We encourage community members to participate…See More
