Street Lights out

Hi Everyone, new to Leimert Park and have noticed in my area ( on Olmsted Between Coliseum & Rodeo) there has been a rash of street lights being out. It is completely dark on entire streets around there in the last day or so.  I made a call to the proper People and found out there has been tampering with the wires inside the street lights or "copper theft" Below is what i was told

FILMS AT CAAM EXPLORE THE CULTURE OF BEAUTY IN AMERICA WITH THOUGHT-PROVOKING DOCUMENTARY SCREENINGS THROUGHOUT NOVEMBER

Where to vote in Leimert Park and environs? Here

Attention Leimert Park voters, the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's office has an online tool that tells you your polling place. Just put in your address number and street name and your voting location pops up. Mine is MLK park rec center on Western. Hope to see you there.

Polls are open from 7 am - 8 pm, Tuesday, November 6.

The southern California branches of the NAACP are participating in the Get Out The Vote "GOTV" campaign and are seeking the following:
1. Seventy-Seven (77) individuals to canvass the Los Angeles area on 11/3/12, 11/4/12 and 11/6/12. Canvassers must be at least 17 years of age and have the ability to walk for a six (6) hour period of time. The rate of pay will be $10.00 per hour.
2. Twenty (20) drivers to transport and supervise the canvassers in the Los Angeles area…
