Tonight my heart grew heavy as I stopped by Sika’s shop during the Art Walk and saw a memorial tribute honoring Fred Horn, this was the firs time I heard that Fred Horn had passed away. He passed a couple of weeks ago due to health complications related to diabetes and high blood pressure.

From Arlington to Crenshaw all the way down to Leimert Park the crowds were five people deep on both sides of the parade route as Los Angeles came out to celebrate the legacy of freedom and action left to us by one of the greatest Americans, Martin Luther King Jr.
