Just sending a "RAVE" to the Rave Cinema chain for bringing a first class movie experience to Baldwin Hills. My wife and I are Seniors and we go regularly to the matinees at $4.50....can't beat that with a stick as the ol' folks used to say.:-) I don't know about the evening and nightime crowds, but we have had absolutely no problems with noise or rowdiness during the movies we watched. I appreciate the pricing for students as well as for us seniors. Any other OPINIONS OUT THERE??? Let me know.

We need to get the word out to the HILLS folks to start supporting venues in the community that have upgraded their facilities and services. I think the "safety factor" plays heavily in attendance.
I've been a half dozen times since the opening. Some of the best sound and 3D in the city. The seats are comfy and the modified stadium seating works well with the screens. The $6 Wednesday promotion is a real value. Eddie's right; the popcorn is surprisingly good. And the staff is super pleasant. It was neat the "Tribe Called Quest" movie was screened there, but, sadly, there weren't any people in the audience to encourage Rave to continue showing art films.
I've been a few times - the screens, the seats, the service are all top notch. Even the popcorn is good - a rarity in LA. It's not that busy. But it's a real nice experience.
