None in the front.......none down the block or on surrounding corners that I could find. How arrogant is that to remove critical services from the community without widespread media or mailed warnings. I am checking corners where mailboxes used to be to determine the extent of the removals. DO THE SAME AND SHARE…

Posted on November 28, 2011 at 5:50pm 3 Comments

Just sending a "RAVE" to the Rave Cinema chain for bringing a first class movie experience to Baldwin Hills. My wife and I are Seniors and we go regularly to the matinees at $4.50....can't beat that with a stick as the ol' folks used to say.:-) I don't know about the evening and nightime crowds, but we have had absolutely no problems with noise or rowdiness during the movies we watched. I appreciate the pricing for students as well as for us seniors. Any other OPINIONS OUT THERE??? Let me…

Burning Heart Bluegrass Returns to Joxer Daly's

Joxer Daly's, Culver City's favorite Irish Pub, is thrilled to bring back Burning Heart Bluegrass for an evening of hard-driving, high-lonesome Bluegrass music. There is nothing like the sound of guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and doghouse bass when they get into that special Bluegrass groove.
