WW II soldier from Leimert finds the man who saved his life 60 years ago

Jim Garbett, who grew up in Leimert Park, reunites with the WWII soldier who saved him, Tiburcio Ordorica, who lives in Gardena.

The sirens Tuesday night? Car vs. bus in LP

Fourteen people were injured - two critically - when a bus collided with a small sedan on Arlington

near 40th Street at 11:30 p.m.



Air bags and seat belts saved the lives of the car passengers, officials said.





Dozens of emergency personnel were on the scene.



The cause of the incident is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police and the L.A. County Sheriff's office.
