“Back Home”
by Women’s Voices
“They’re Ba-a-a-ck”……by popular demand. The third installment of WOMEN’S VOICES Storytelling Concert Series at the Institute of Musical Art’s Ray G. Clark Theater is Saturday, July 21, 1012 at 2:00 p.m. Experience the rich heritage of the spoken word tradition with this ensemble group of storytellers who will present performances of original, personal stories they developed in their “Tell Me a Story” workshop.
Women’s Voices return to the Front Porch with a concert titled “Back Home” that is sure to entertain. Come and “eavesdrop” on this colorful group of women, as they gather on a hot July evening, to share memories of their own escapades growing up in the South. You will feel transported as Margaret Davis, Laura Duncan, Barbara Murray-White and Carrie Tyler present stories that celebrate their lives and memories.
We’d love to have you share in the festivities and enjoy an afternoon of great entertainment. As is out custom at the Institute of Musical Arts, a catered reception will follow the performance.
You can buy tickets online by clicking the ticketing link below. You may also pay by cash, check or credit card, at the IMA office, while supplies last.
Ours is a small, intimate theater, and we do expect that this concert will sell out. So please, purchase your ticketstoday. Tickets for the performance are $20.00.
