Lena Horne was a true Diva before they started to use the term correctly. She could do it all, act, sing, dance, and civil rights activist. She was light skinned and beautfiful as a black woman in America. She was a true trailblazer in the entertainment industry and opened a lot of doors for blacks who followed her... that owe her so much! and don't even know it! ... I loved her from afar as a young kid, yound adult and older man. She is a true American hero! ... long live the spirit and legacy of Lena Horne! .... God rest her soul.
