As I sit back on a Friday night I think about the condition of America and we as a people (Black People) are in fact in a real economic winter in America. What is really going on here in the land of the free home of the brave? Frozen dreams, faded hopes, and high anxiety as hundreds of thousands of Americans continue to loss their jobs? They say the recession is over on the news.. well they forgot to tell that to my community, family and friends... We must pull together and help each other as never before. We will survive this Winter just like we've always done... but you go out their and fight the daily battles to make that paper for you and your family.... Lawd you know we hoping for some rain round here... sure need a break out here in America... how bout a stimulus package for the good ol Americans? since you bailing out every industry out there... Print up some of the money for your folks! .... What we gonna do in America? ... Got to do it different from what we been doing it? for sure... Capitalism must change the dynamics of how it operates... it's far too greedy now... the haves have it all... getting rid of that middle class... rich getten richer... poor folks getten poorer.... something gotta change for real round here! - All said and done... I still love America ! .... We can do better! ... We have to do better!
