The park in Culver City just opened - and it's not that far away. I see the kids in our 'hood riding their skateboards - well this would be like going to Disneyland. From the description on Youtube:
"This park has been a long time coming, and is in the final stages of construction. Here is some video to show of the AMAZING lay out of the park. I am trying not to be too negative, but I really feel that Culver City has struck out with this design. The clover bowl is approx 6'6"ft 7'6"ft 10'6"ft with tile and beautiful pool coping. Great bowl, if you can drop in on vert. The street course is another story. Check out the 8-foot VERT quarter pipe that directs you right into the street (and soon to be fence). Don't forget to scratch your head over the 50-foot long 4-foot high VERT quarter pipe WITHOUT coping. The back section seems to be a wannabe wallows ditch. I hate to be a hater, but WTF is going on here. If you see any possible lines, please leave a comment! Music By the Pixies." From a true skater.
