Growing up, Saturday mornings, meant Soul Train, Fat Albert, and Bruce Lee (in that order). During those hours, my parents never seemed to fight. Saturdays were reserved for cleaning, watching my parents do the hustle, the bump, and guessing the Soul Train Scramble Board.

My favorite memory is the Kentucky fried chicken and Springfield sodas served for lunch during EVERY taping of Soul Train at the KTTV studios on Sunset! (at least that's what we ate '74-'76. LOL) Thanks for the Memories Don Cornelius!!

Soul Train was the reason my folks broke down and got our first Color TV set. Saturday just wasn't complete without hearing the TM its " Souuuuuuuullllllll Trainnnnnnn! Mr Cornelius will be missed. Truly a legend and an Icon.
