Well, I guess Tavis is about to get a little taste of what it means to be held accountable. The article below also speaks to the issue of Tavis' ego. It discusses how he attempted to purchase the honor of having the communication school bear his name.

One would think that the naming of schools would be based on merit rather than largess. After all, with a standard like the one described below, how long could it be before a wealthy drug dealer will have a school of medicine named in his honor? Just imagine - "Sweet Willie's School of Advanced Pharmacology."

This is the sort of thing that America needs to be held accountable for - giving priority to wealth over character and substance. This is exactly the kind of mindset that is destroying our young people. We're teaching them that making money is the only thing that counts, regardless to how you make it.

We've got to teach our young people that character counts, and what's important in life is not what you are, but WHO you are - and that's a "Black agenda" that President Obama can't help us with - that's an agenda that has to be taught at the dinner table. Take note, Tavis:
