So what brings you to Leimert Park Beat? Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I love African Culture and I love my people. I live in Long Beach but ever time I travel north of the 710 freeway, I always find myself visiting Leimert Park. Currenly, I have a web site called www.MyChocolateCity.com. My site is still in its development stages but my goal is to create something that will link African Americans from the Long Beach, Orange County (my home town) and Los Angeles areas.
Who referred you?
I referred myself. I can sniff my culture out from miles away. If it is there, I will find it.
Good times at:
I have good time at events hosted by Black N OC (Orange County). Contrary to popular belief, there are back people who live behind the Orange Curtain. We have a NAACP, a 100 Black men of OC, LINKS, MWB Foundation, Black History Parade and the Largest Black Chamber of Commerce on the West Coast. Ya'll better ask somebody.
