- So what brings you to Leimert Park Beat? Tell us a little bit about yourself.
- As an artist. I know this part of town like the back of my hand. From as early as attending Audubon Jr. high ( the neighboring school). Visiting with friends, doing homework and practicing pop locking ( a dance I was good at) and testing out the raps (poems to beats)I wrote at home or in class. I loved the remodeling that was made many years ago. But now it's not so cool that the vendors are suffering from construction. I'll be there, once again, to participate in the festivities.
