Tavis Smiley hosts a program featuring a distinguished panel as part of an annual symposium for outstanding student leaders - the 10th annual State of the Black Union symposium.
There is room for 800 local high school and college students - SPACE is AVAILABLE. RSVP now.
The program includes USC Dean Ernest J. Wilson III, Princeton University professor Eddie Glaude; USC Annenberg communication professor Josh Kun; Voto Latino executive director Maria Teresa Petersen; Brown University professor Tricia Rose; the world's youngest university professor Dr. Alia Sabur; US Naval Officer Jocelyn Butcher; and actor Jurnee Smollett before an audience of outstanding student leaders from high schools and colleges in Southern California.
Lunch follows discussion.
This event is free, but RSVP is required.
