Cherene Snow - Cherene started her acting career as Preach’s younger sister, Tooty Jackson in the classic 70's movie "Cooley High". In 1990 she did "The Long Walk Home", with Whoopi Goldberg and Sissy Spacek. She has an extensive television resume inclusing "Law and Order" and she is no stranger to theater. Her best role and performance to date is "Black Pearl Sings" by Frank Higgins at Triad Stage in Greensboro, NC.
NeoSoulJah - Discovered at an International Music Conference by Stellar/Dove award winner recording artist Babbie Mason. She has a vocal range from 2nd tenor to mezzo-soprano reminds us of the dying art of real singing. Now teamed with Producers Mike “Dakhta” Loyd of MLee Productions, Ace Boogie of Nappy Groove Records, and contributing composers/producers Brian O’Neal of BCO Media and award winning Rob Hardt from The Candy Factory in Europe [Frank McCombs], Neo is finishing up her long awaited debut CD
Clayton (BigTrigger) Corley, Sr. is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He developed his love of writing at the age of 14 and his love of jazz from as far back as he can remember.
He is the host of Spotlight on Jazz and Poetry (SOJP) and he is currenlty hosting "Jazzetry and Versatudes" in the Philadelphia area October 17, 2009
Native Son is a member of “The Drop Squad” poetry crew and is affiliated with “Word Iz Bond” a poetry Speak series held in Halifax.
A member of the Canadian Writers Federation , He is currently working on his first book and CD, titled “When Heaven Cried “ a collection of spoken word pieces and poetry.
“Life is a great motivator and has influenced my every thought. It’s my passion! So I must write, so I must speak” says the poet.
LaTasha Asha - A published writer with most recent work appearing in Sisterhood Agenda Magazine, July 2009. She is working on her book of poems which will be self-published this year.

These iconic Spoken Word Activist have made an indelible mark on our culture. We are honored to have Max Parthas a our co-host this evening.
