RAVE MOTION PICTURES TO HOST THREE-DAY JOB FAIR AT BALDWIN HILLS CRENSHAW PLAZA
New theater operator kicks off application and interview process; plans to hire more than 80 new management and staff from the local community
Los Angeles (May 5, 2011)—Rave Motion Pictures, the new operator of the theaters undergoing an extensive $11 million transformation at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza (BHCP), will host a job fair on the ground floor of the mall next week in preparation of the multiplex’s grand opening in July. Rave plans on filling more than 80 floor staff and management positions for the new state-of-the-art theaters.
Beginning Thursday, job-seekers are invited to visit Rave’s temporary hiring office located on the first floor of BHCP, adjacent to the food court. The offices will be open on Thursday, May 12th from 3pm-8pm; Friday, May 13th from 3pm-8pm; and on Saturday, May 14th from 10am-4pm.
Individual interviews will be held throughout the three-day event, and candidates are encouraged to fill out the initial application online before the job fair. The online application can be accessed at www.work4rave.com. Those without access to the internet will also have the opportunity to fill in the application at the job fair.
“This job fair is great news for the community,” said Sharron King, General Manager of BHCP. “Rave Motion Pictures is delivering a first-class movie theater experience and new jobs for local residents. We encourage anyone interested in these opportunities to stop by the job fair next week.”
The movie theaters at BHCP are currently under construction, and are on track to open in July, 2011. The mall’s owner, Capri Urban Investors, LLC, a commingled fund of institutional investors, is working alongside Rave Motion Pictures to transform the current theaters into a modern state-of-the-art multiplex featuring stadium seating, new amenities, digital technology, 3-D screens and new décor throughout.
