Event Description

The Institute of Musical Arts is hosting its springtime "Open Tea and Tapas" luncheon at Doña Barbara's Tea and Tapas, on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.  Doña Barbara's Tea and Tapas is a private, reservation-only tea room, located in the Institute of Musical Arts residence, presenting  refined, elegant, custom-designed afternoon Tea and Tapas menus for group events.

At Doña Barbara's, we provide Afternoon Tea and Tapas with an emphasis on California contemporary cuisine. No crustless finger sandwiches or scones at our Afternoon Teas! Each meal is freshly prepared from the best locally-sourced ingredients available, and includes sweet and savory offerings. Your meal will be beautifully presented on a 3 - tiered tray, and will consist of 9 separate items. We promise you will never leave Doña Barbara’s hungry.  We offer a variety of teas to choose from, and each guest gets their own (bottomless) pot of tea to enjoy. With advance notice, we are happy to accommodate special dietary restrictions and preferences, including lactose-free, gluten free, sugar free, vegetarian or vegan requests.

You may pre-purchase 1-8 tickets for $30.00 each.  So take a break from those tax forms, errands or household chores.  Grab your favorite lunch companion(s) and join us!

Click http://openteaandtapas3.eventbrite.com to buy tickets, or you can pay by cash, check or credit card at the IMA office. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, while they last. All tickets must be purchased before 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013. There will be only one seating for this event, and we do expect a robust response, so please, purchase your tickets today and join us for an afternoon with great food, friends and fun.
