Hassan Khan has been active on the national music scene for over 20 years. He has worked with many notable and legendary performing artists such as Grover Washington, Jr., Eddie Kendricks, the Staples Singers, Otis Clay, Buddy Guy, Huey Lewis, Phil Guy, Junior Wells, Eddie Clearwater, the Five Stairsteps, Baby Huey and the Babysitters, and the legendary Buddy Miles, to name a few.

He was married for some years to the internationally known singer, Chaka Khan, during which time he was instrumental in developing her into the dynamic vocalist that she is today.

Hassan Khan has appeared in concert at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, performed at the 1986 Los Angeles Summer Festival, the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago, McCormick Place in Chicago, the Auditorium Theater in Chicago, the Apollo Theater in New York, the Howard Theater in Washington D.C., the University of Illinois Pavilion in Chicago, the Amphitheatre in Chicago.

He is a band leader of his Jazz and Blues band and was a member of the late Phil Guy and The Chicago Machine blues band for many years. Hassan will share with us his accomplishments and future projects.
