Event Description

Conversations at CAAM features the second in a series of political panel discussions on Black Politics - Past, Present, and Future:  The Vote/ Why Vote?  Conversations will address what critical issues should be of concern, to today’s electorate. Featured panelists include retired Councilman, Robert Farrell and Councilmen Nate Holden; USC’s Vice-President for External Relations, Carolyn Web de Macias will moderate.  Panel members will share examples from their own experiences; illustrating how low voting turnouts alter expected results. This event is free and open to the public, for more information visit www.caamuseum.org and RSVP (213) 744-2024. CAAM is located at 600 State Drive, Exposition Park, Los Angeles, CA 90037. Parking is $10 per vehicle and available on 39th and Figueroa streets.
