Public Invited to Free Discussion about Voting Rights and the Future of Constitutional Democracy
The League of Women Voters of Los Angeles in partnership with My Daily Constitution invites the public to Constitution Happy Hour, a guided, topical conversation about the US Constitution and its role in democracy. Led by author and international journalist Andrew Gumbel, (“Down for the Count: Dirty Elections and the Rotten History of Democracy in America”), the lively discussion will include audience participation and Q&A with the author who writes about the state of the electoral process, democracy and voting rights. Food, beer and wine available for purchase from the café. Free admission and street parking. Complimentary United States Constitutions will be distributed to attendees.
