Common Culture: Across the Water celebrates intersections of island culture in Los Angeles with music, drum and dance. The show features performances from Chloe x Halle, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Jungle Fire, Brit Manor + special guests.
The dancers, Kimberly Miguel Mullen, Kati Hernandez and Nonosina will weave in traditional movement and drums, all in tribute to legendary Cuban performer, Maestro Lazaro Galarraga (Inglewood).
The show will give back to several initiatives including New Earth Life, transforming the lives of teens coming out of the (broken) justice system and #HappyPeriod, promoting dignity for homeless girls & women all over the US.
A concert that brings together celebrated musicians, singers, drummers and dancers who have achieved national and international success to honor the pillars of their respective communities before an audience of this magnitude is a precious gem in Los Angeles.
What will you find when you check out the Ford this summer? A new stage, new lights and new sound! Bring a picnic, including your wine or beer - or grab a bite at the new grab-&-go market. Gather on the new terrace with your friends and watch LAs Freshest artists do what they do best.
