Event Description

Sid.Author’s Church and the Wild is designed to create moments that offer opportunities for growth. It combines elements of a concert and a workshop where people can become their best selves.

Sid.Author’s Church and the Wild is an interactive concert that engages the audience in conversation and activity that promotes becoming our best selves.

This edition is called ‘#faithful’. It deals with how belief systems impact what is possible in our lives.

Church and the Wild champions the idea that human experience is shared and that no one is the only one going through what they’re going through.

"Church and the Wild was birthed in 2015 in Philadelphia. It had been a tough few years up to that point. I had experienced a lot of loss. But, the skills I’d learned and the mentorship I received in order to recover had so much value. Something amazing started to happen. Even as a work in progress, I started to share these ideas in my music and in human interaction. My art, and my being were starting to have a positive impact on the lives of listeners and the people whose lives I touched.

That’s what Church and the Wild is. It’s me showing up as a work in progress and sharing what’s helping me grow and succeed. It’s my way of spreading gifts I have been given to others."
