Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"
What we’ll be doing: We will be planting new native plants and shrubs to enhance the park in high traffic areas. These plants tie into the greater restoration project and will help transform the park to a refuge for native insects, birds, and other wildlife. All levels of familiarity with plants and outdoor work are welcome, from novice to expert. Learn more about your park while improving its health.
Attire: Sturdy shoes, long sleeves, hat or other sun protection, gloves, reusable water bottle
Lunch will be served at 12:15 for all our volunteers
