Curbed LA says: Angelenos' sense of place, and the neighborhoods they call home, are more important than ever.
I'm beginning to believe it.
Hopefully they just need to hear from more diverse neighborhoods like ours.
They mentioned Leimert Park 3 times last year and 3 times the year before.
The LA Times actually had 42 stories mention Leimert Park in some way. That sounds like a lot until you see that West Hollywood was mentioned 799 times; Silver Lake 363; Eagle Rock 158; Mar Vista and Echo Park about 100 times.
So when you post here, I'll be sending the info onto Curbed LA and other local Websites and see which ones really want to be LA's webpaper and which ones are looking to serve the same small population the LA Times have been clamoring for. I encourage you to post to other sites as well, and I would appreciate mentioning Leimert Park in your post.
BTW Curbed LA has been doing a good job compiling a lot of info about renters rights and what happens and what to do when you are
forced to move because of a condo conversion, renovation or tear down.
LAist is a website about Los Angeles and everything that happens in it. That means news and events, restaurants and bars, happenings and goings-on. LAist is always looking for interesting contributors, so if you love Los Angeles and want to write about it, send us an

Let me know which one you like or dislike as well as other websites and we can add them or subtract them.
