311 swarm: Community celebration and Jefferson Blvd. clean up on Saturday



Let’s celebrate our community, meet some neighbors and clean up Jefferson Boulevard this Saturday.

In memoriam: Lark Galloway-Gilliam, a force for good in Leimert Park

Lark Galloway-Gilliam just worked and worked and worked. I saw few people more in the community over the past decade. She was doing things and getting things done, according the community organizations.



I didn't know her personally - but she made my life better because she made Leimert Park better and that's where I live.

Crenshaw line and LAX - The saga and construction continues
