Free Health Fair in South LA at Rancho Cienega Park (Baseball Field)
October 3, 2009 from 9am to 5pm
The Health Fair will include:
•Free health services and onsite testing including mammograms, dental exams, diabetes checks, optometrists screenings, immunization shots, and more!

This is the day I happened upon Sonny's Spot in Leimert Park Village. It had an incredibly creative ambiance. I hope this video allows me to share with you what I felt that day. Sadly it is no longer there.
Well worth the wait and effort to get this up here - thanks CJ. Videos like this - the recent and not-so-recent history of places that deserve to be remembered in Leimert Park - are so hard to find!

- I am a native of Los Angeles. As a teenager I was one of those kids who used to enjoy a cruise in his car with friends Friday and Saturday nights. Our destinations Sunset blvd or Crenshaw blvd.Our goal check out other cars and meet girls. It was always a lot of fun. As an adult I noticed the development of a creative area off Crenshaw, Leimert Park Village What I discovered is, it's always a lot of fun. I love to enjoy the culture here.
