Leimert Park Drum Circle at Leimert Park
February 28, 2010 from 3pm to 9pm
Join us each and every Sunday from 3:00PM until dusk and experience the Leimert Park Drum Circle. All ages and skill levels are welcome to participate in this exciting community event.
I've been unable to find "an app to do that automatically", post fb posts onto LPB. Your guidance would be or is needed.

XMAS DAY
For those not witnessing a "White Xmas", let me tell you live from St. Louis, let's trade places. The temp. is 25 degrees and I've just tossed salt on my sidewalks and steps leading up to my home. How much snow you ask, just enough to say it's a "White Xmas". The lawn is white and so are the bushes surrounding my house. Well it's Lakers time, must go. Anyone wishing to trade places let me know.

- though it was hard to muddle through the video - from the title on - I thought it was very poignant at least in this instance - they pointed out that Kanye West stood up and said what everyone was thinking after Katrino - Bush doesn't like black people - then the video asked where were all the gangsta rappers and why they didn't stand up too

- Hosea, the 'home' in the picture is the old Busby Berkley mansion which is now the Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Garden. Open to the public by appointment for tours with a peace labyrinth, reflection ponds and meditation gardens. I was there last week and it's breathtaking.

- That's the plan - I want to get residents and students involved in covering their community. I've applied for a grant to do just that, but the geographic boundaries don't include Leimert Park. But if I can show I works, it would pave the way to expand the program. Until then any digital cameras, computers, video equipment, old, used or new donated would be put to good use by creating citizen journalists in Leimert Park.

- Thanks Hosea - I'm still learning the ins and outs. Plus it's really just a digital camera - the video camera part is just an add on. Soon maybe I'll get a real video camera - they're pretty cheap now.
