Two years ago today, Trump passed his notorious tax bill, allowing multi-billion dollar Silicon Valley companies to pay virtually nothing in taxes.
Meanwhile, homelessness is rampant within Silicon Valley to the point that tent cities have sprung up outside Google’s headquarters. Think about that -- one of the biggest & most successful companies in the history of the world has a parking lot full of homeless Americans.
It’s the opposite of Humanity 1st.
Tech companies are sucking up jobs & revenues, creating unbelievable amounts of wealth for their shareholders & paying little to nothing in taxes.

We need to shift the dynamic away from a society that makes it possible for rampant homelessness to exist in the same city as a company like Google or Facebook.
Policies like the Freedom Dividend would put $1,000 a month in the hands of every American adult. It would create an economic incentive for cities to invest in people who are struggling w/ homelessness & give them the resources they need to get housing.
Most importantly, the Freedom Dividend would make it so that every American benefits from the technological progress these companies produce. It would give every American their fair share of every Google search, every Facebook ad, every Amazon purchase & eventually every robot truck mile.
We can do so much more to help our fellow citizens & as preside...
