I am hearing a lot of anger from many black people who are uttering reverse racist comments and attitudes towards their fellow white Americans.
I say No to that and it is counterproductive towards the real truth and serves to allow those in power the same old games they have run on poor and middle class people for hundreds of years … dating all the way back to the slave days.

I just talked to the LAPD for an update on the incident near West Vernon and 9th avenues - stolen car - illegally parked - reported by a good vigilant neighbor - fireworks found. Surrounding homes evacuated for a few hours in case the fireworks were bombs. All clear.

It was close but I think Los Angeles ended the year with less than 300 killings – something that hasn't happened since 1967, when the population was almost 30% smaller.
Imagine in 1992, there were more than 3 homicides a day. In 2001 there were two every day. Last year there was less than one. (Great graphics from the LATimes.com below.)…
