The occasion was the 2009 Kingdom Day Parade 1 day before we inaugurated Barack Obama as the first African American to ascend to the office of President of the United States of America. My thoughts were of my Mother and Father who did not live to see this momentous event.
The locations were Crenshaw and King Blvd. and Degnan at 43rd St. where the drum circle exhibited the common celebration of the people of Los Angeles in general and Leimert Park in particular. If you see yourself in these photographs, please feel free to let me know. My e-mail is BassLand1@aol.com
