So what brings you to Leimert Park Beat? Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Twenty nine years and counting, I have cooked my way out of the box!
My cuisine is Caribbean/Creole with a hint of Fusion, which essentially means “no limit” – so expect the unexpected and you will never be caught off guard where the Flava is concerned.
Quality is a primary focus in my work, as are foods prepared from scratch, and fresh locally-sourced produce; whenever possible, I embrace the farm-to-table concept.
I bring a level of commitment to my work that is hard to match, and that passion carries over and expresses itself on your plate, whether I have prepared the dish or you have followed my recipe.
I guarantee you will never be confused about the concept or bored with the preparation, and while some recipes may appear similar to others in execution, there will always be the element of surprise in the Flava that takes the dish from good to great.
As you follow my recipes, you will uncover the “je ne sais quoi” that takes Flavacooks from ordinary to extraordinary.
