(Re:) an actual (streaming) gig w/ the band!! From: MdC-L Who? Mark de Clive-Lowe
(TONIGHT) (LA time) i'm going to be doing a free livestream from LA's World Stage (J)azz club in the historic Leimert Park district. Founded by Billy Higgins & a huge part of LA's (J)azz history, it's always been a pleasure to play there. this is going to be the 1st time in a LONG time that i get to play w/ my friends, together, in the same room, at the same time!!! - & the 1st time i get to play an acoustic piano in just as long. it's a weird combination of nerves & excitement :)
we'll be doing a (mostly) unplugged set sharing some healing vibes w/ a selection of tunes from Heritage, CHURCH & Dreamweavers. i'll be joined by Brandon Combs (drums), Anna Butterss (bass) & Carlos Nino (percussion). we hit @ 8pm PST tonight - that's 11pm EST, 5am CET, 1pm Japan, 5pm NZ, broadcasting from the World Stage's youtube channel & facebook.
hope you can tune in !
take care of yourselves, take care of one another.
one love,
Mark
