Target, Ralphs and Chuck E. Cheese planned to replace Rodeo Ralphs dump on Crenshaw

Curbed LA reported that local firm Charles
Company is planning a mall
containing a Target, a Ralphs, Marshalls, Dress for Less, and more on the corner of Crenshaw Boulevard and Rodeo Road, blocks from the planned Expo Line.

The City Council will vote on on Friday and construction would start by November.

Ralphs would be on the bottom, Target, parking on top, retail all around.

The city would provide a $22.674 million HUD loan, and $6.5 million in CRA funds, roughly 30 percent of the whole $93 million
budget.

Neighbors are concerned about having a three story wall abutting their homes. Hopefully there's a compromise because we need more locally serving businesses and the jobs they would create right here in Leimert Park.
