I live in the first house I've ever bought. It's been 3 years now and I just love living in Leimert--always wanted to live here! I have a Spanish style home with nice hardwood floors, cozy fireplace and cute little backyard---a typical Leimert home.

One of my favorite things to do is to stand on my porch and listen to the neighborhood. Sometimes I can hear the drum circle playing in the Village, the ice cream truck or the kids riding bikes, but I can always hear the family of crows in the Maple Trees on the street over a block. It warms my heart and makes me take a deep breath.

I did good--I bought the right house, in the right neighborhood. When I walk my dog and see a house for sale sign, I always think to myself "someone else is gonna get lucky like I did and live in this great neighborhood." I wonder who it will be?

As a real estate agent, I'm always looking at properties in Leimert, View Park, Baldwin Hills and Windsor Hills. Inventory is relatively low over here, because people come and STAY--the value is awesome! I see so many great opportunities for home ownership---homes with character, charm and pride in the nieghborhood--not to mention more square footage for your dollar and some homes even have amazing views!

The fact that homes and condos are so affordable, the recent construction of the Metro line, along with the redesign of the Baldwin Crenshaw Mall and several parks, we are starting to see a lot of diversity amongst the area. I love the transformation that that's happening! I want people to know about it.
