• Every tree down the center of Crenshaw Blvd is slated for removal.
• Trees will be replaced 2:1, with smaller, non-mature trees to ensure they will survive through the first 5 years after replanting.
• DWP will be lifting power lines.  DWP is promising no loss of power during the weeks preceding the Shuttle move.  SoCal Edison has not provided info for the County.
• North/South traffic will be stalled and may not be available from late Friday until late Saturday.  (scheduling has not been provided yet.)  This means you will need map your detours if you need to get West of Crenshaw during the weekend of October 12th.
• Traffic lights will be removed, then replaced.

So far the King Blvd trees have not been slated for removal.  However, if Endeavour does not make the turn at King properly, trees may have to be cut down on the day of the event.  There will be a big celebration ceremony at the corner of King/Crenshaw as the Shuttle makes the turn.  That celebration will be produced and created by Debbie Allen.
