This was not just a landslide victory for Barack Obama. It was a landslide victory for the best in us -- for intelligence, vision, and compassion, for the great spiritual forces that have shaped the great religions and mystical traditions of all time. It was a landslide victory for decency and kindness. It was a landslide victory for self-control, for learning, for pragmatism, for a can-do attitude that is typically American. It was a landslide victory for the best in us.
May the best in us join hands to help him and one another achieve greater victory.
