<p><a href="http://www.ciclavia.org/" target="_blank">CicLAvia</a> - the event which opens Los Angeles streets to biking, walking, jogging, and dogwalking - returns for the second route of 2013 on Sunday, June 23rd. The route, <a href="http://www.ciclavia.org/events/682/iconic-wilshire-boulevard/692/about" target="_blank">"Iconic Wilshire Boulevard,"</a> will stretch for 6 miles from 9am to 4pm along Wilshire, connecting Downtown, Macarthur Park, Koreatown, and Mid-Wilshire. Over 150,000 Angelenos participated in the last CicLAvia on Venice Blvd, which included the debut of a <a href="http://www.yovenice.com/2013/04/22/ciclavia-video-stoopidtall/" target="_blank">14.5' tall bike called "Stoopidtall."</a> "Iconic Wilshire Boulevard" on 6/23 promises to be the most walkable CicLAvia yet, with pedestrian-only zones at each end of the route in Downtown and in front of <a href="http://www.lacma.org/" target="_blank">LACMA</a> in Miracle Mile.</p>

<p><a href="http://trustsouthla.org/" target="_blank">Ride South L.A.</a> is hosting a "feeder" ride to help get people to CicLAvia. The group ride is FREE will provide safety and numbers for novice riders, families, and experienced riders alike. The ride will meet at 9:00 AM and depart at 9:30 AM on Sunday, April 23rd, at <a href="https://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&cid=4247776955389381228" target="_blank">Leimert Park</a> (43rd Pl. & Degnan between Crenshaw Blvd. and Leimert Blvd.).</p>
