So what brings you to Leimert Park Beat? Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a 54 year-old African-American male living in Orange County, CA. I am married with a 19 year-old step-daughter. I want a good reason to visit the LA County area, so I am interested in Leimert Park as a possible destination and point of interest. I visited the African-American Museum about two months ago.

My Leimert Park Secret:
I visited Leimert Park about 10 years ago and I always promised myself that I would visit each year since but never did. Leimert Park was mentioned in a Sunday (26th Dec., 2010) morning news report concerning the Kwanzaa Festival. That report reminded me of Leimert Park.
