    Hi Everton...What a great thing you stumbled upon, right?  Leimert Park Beat is how I know what's happening in the community. Just saw Nikki Giovanni perform a few poems from her new book at the Eso Won Bookstore Friday night....standing room only!  Amazing!!! Spike Lee was there tonight, signing copies of Do The Right Thing, but i wasn't able to make it.  Keep checking the event calendar so you can see what's happening.
