Children of all ages encouraged to attend this event!
Come get answers to your questions about Halloween.
It's not what you've been told all these years. This visual lecture will prove to be one of a kind as Okera will take us on a journey through American, European and ancient Afrakan history.
Okera Damani is a Tajedi (teacher), researcher, entrepreneur, husband, father and friend. Okera became interested in learning “ourstory” at the age of 15 and has been on an unrelenting, non-stop journey of discovery ever since. Okera made his first return to the Motherland in 1993 and plans to keep going back, encouraging all who can to go and reconnect with our base, mother Afraka. He has been passionately studying and building on the work , research and writings of Dr. Ben, Cheikh Anta Diop, Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Dr. Suzar, Ashra & Merira Kwesi, Dr. Amos Wilson, Dr. Francis Cress Welsing, Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad, Baba Ishakamusa Barashango, Walter Williams, Professor Earl 5X Grant, Dr. Ivan Van Sertima and many others . He credits his personal relationships with Professor Grant and the Kwesis for much of his growth as an educator.
