Piccolo's Books in Long Beach, California has donated 85,000 Children's Books to Jamaica. 

Volunteers will transform the cargo shipping container the books come in into a children’s reading center.  The Cedella Booker-Marley Basic School in Nine Mile; Jamaica will be the home of the very first Gift of Knowledge Children’s Center.

With the assistance of the Minister of Education and the guidance of the Golden Sands Foundation and their gifts to supply the library with Solar Power, the tools and equipment it takes to build the entire library near the home and resting place of the Honourable Bob Nesta Marley. 

The Royal Queens will teach Arts, Crafts, Business and Computer classes to those with a desire for higher education.  Free for five (5) days at the Grand Opening Celebration one can learn a trade, how to sell it on the internet and re-order supplies from our sponsors. 

It is our desire to teach “How to Stand Out in a Crowd of Fruit Vendors” and inspire the creativity of “Authentic Jamaican-Made Products” to benefit the Artist and a whole community.

The Rita Marley Foundation in conjunction with the Gift of Knowledge Foundation will present a children's reading center at the Bob Marley Primary and Jr. High School and a Benefit Concert for the next two libraries we take to Jamaica
