This exhibition features 20 black and white photographs from CAAM’s permanent collection that explores the African legacy and Diaspora in Central America. The collection focuses on several countries in Central America: Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama. This exhibition serves as tribute to Tony Gleaton, who traveled and documented the lives of people of African descent of which reflect the empowerment, dignity and unsurpassed beauty of “The African Legacy in Central America”.
