Global Feasts on Local Streets. We will tour Leimert Park, providing tour goers with opportunities to experience the area’s rich cultural legacy through history, food, and live music. Highlights will include a walking tour of the neighborhood and mouth-watering samples of local Creole and Jamaican street food. The tour will continue with the unveiling of a new mural created by local artists and Crenshaw High School students at the annual World Stage Jazz Festival, a thrilling showcase of the hottest jazz talent from the dynamic World Stage performance gallery and beyond. An optional activity at the end of the day will be participation in the area’s famous Sunday afternoon drum circle; if you own a percussive instrument, bring it along and join the fun!
Price: $20.00
