This approx. 2.5-mile round-trip hike winds its way on a dirt path along the hillside beneath the lovely homes of View Park for great views of the L.A. skyline. Wear sturdy tennis or hiking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and bring water.
The views and wildlife may surprise you!
Street parking on Presidio Drive off of Stocker St. west of Crenshaw Blvd.
Meet at the corner of Presidio and Stocker, at the base of the trail.
This hike is part of a series of urban excursions Leimert Park Beat will lead on easy off-road paths near our community.
Special guests: KCET Public Television, which will be doing a feature on the trail and community health; and Health Policy expert Gwen Flynn of the Community Health Councils.
