This event will be to honor and disseminate information about the death of the young Raymond Herisse, a Haitian immigrant who was shot to death by twelve Miami Police officers earlier this month over one hundred times, despite the fact that Mr. Herisse was unarmed, had not attempted to leave his car and had displayed his empty hands. Given these circumstances, he had not officially been charged with a crime at that time. As of now, no officers have been arrested or formally charged with any crime.
