Event Description

The 6th ANNUAL WALK FOR LIFE & COMMUNITY FESTIVAL is hosted by P.C.I. People for Community Improvement. The Walk will also feature a Health Fair and Entertainment. This year's theme is: PROSPERING THE COMMMUNITY THROUGH UNITY. We prosper the community through highlighting Community Resources that assist in building wealth and incorporate the goals of First Lady Michelle Obama "Let's Move" Campaign towards a healthier lifestyle.

YOUTH ACTIVITY CENTER
11911 S. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90044

A Rally and Stretching, lead by local fitness trainers, will commence in the Ralphs parking lot across the street (11922 S. Vermont, Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90044)

The walk is 2.4 miles. Additional walkers will join in at Athens Park. The Walk will be followed by a Community Entertainment Festival & Health Fair at EARVIN MAGIC JOHNSON PARK, 905 E. El Segundo Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90059
