*The PAN AFRIKAN PEOPLES ARKESTRA*

A big band/spiritual collective of artists, civil rights activists and devoted creatives founded by our honored ancestor “Papa” Horace Tapscott in Los Angeles in 1961, dedicated to bringing true music and an infusion of Spirit into the community. The “Ark” continues today as a thriving, living life force and extension of the prolific works begun by Tapscott, and consists of ALL peoples…young, old, veteran and novice, all united to create, educate, empower and uplift the people. Join us Saturday and share in this unique energy and spirit the Arkestra conveys through their amazing gift of sound. - Tru-'z wordImage may contain: one or more people, people on stage and indoor
