TARGET SUNDAYS AT CAAM
DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. & NELSON MANDELA - A CELEBRATION
PILLARS OF PEACE, FROM JAIL TO JUSTICE
Mark your calendar to join us on this Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend as we celebrate the legacies of Dr. King and Nelson Mandela. View film screenings of Dr. King’s speeches and Nelson Mandela’s speech made during his appearance at the Los Angeles Coliseum in 1990. Experience music, theatre, and dance performances that represent our diverse communities. Co-hosting the program will be performer and producer Dawnn Lewis and actor Jeffrey Anderson-Gunter. (*Coincides with the formal King Holiday. Interpreted for the hearing impaired.) CAAM is located at 600 State Drive, Exposition Park, Los Angeles, CA 90037. For more information visit www.caamuseum.org or call (213) 744-2024.
